Here you'll find links to other sites.
Some are for organizations that are indirectly in support of PRT.
Some are for groups that have supported us at Citizens for Personal Rapid Transit.
Some are general transit sites.

The Institute for Local Self-Reliance (ILSR) Our good friend, and PRT advocate David Morris, is vice president of this organization.
ILSR is a nonprofit research and educational organization that provides technical assistance and information on environmentally sound economic development strategies. Since 1974, ILSR has worked with citizen groups, governments and private businesses in developing policies that extract the maximum value from local resources.

The Reason Foundation "A national research and educational organization that explores and promotes public policies based on rationality and freedom." They have several pieces about rail initiatives in California.
(The arguments in this one about transit myths sound terribly familiar!)

Cascade Policy Institute"Oregon's Free-Market Think Tank" Cascade Policy Institute explores and promotes answers to Oregon's public policy questions from an individual liberty, limited government, free-market perspective.

  • They too have their own "Top Ten Myths about LRT" page in addition to lots of reports about the fight Portland residents are waging against LRT.)

The Minnesota Transportation Alliance is a member-based not-for-profit coalition of groups, businesses, labor and local governments concerned about surface transportation in Minnesota, including highways, bridges, streets and intermodal connections to transit, trucks, railroads, barges, ships and airports.

The Journal of Advanced Transportation is a peer-reviewed international scientific journal which publishes new findings in transportation studies. It contains several articles on PRT, as well as many other interesting new transportation findings. Abstracts of these articles are available online, and back issues containing the full articles can be ordered for a fee.

AdvancedPassengerVehicles.com is a website with links to all kinds of advanced passenger vehicles, including PRT.

  The Public Purpose
"To facilitate the ideal of government as the servant of the people by identifying and implementing strategies to achieve public purposes at a cost that is no higher than necessary".

The Academy Education Center -  A Private College dedicated to "Excellence in Multimedia, Network Administration, Animation, Aviation, Graphic Design, Computer Programming, Accounting, and Money Management." They donated video production resources.

Physics for Bored Commuters
How can the average commuter help relieve congestion?  Check this out!
It even works on "gawker/rubbernecker slowdowns".
