The Institute for Local
Self-Reliance (ILSR) Our good friend, and PRT advocate
David Morris, is vice president of this organization.
ILSR is a nonprofit research and educational organization
that provides technical assistance and information on
environmentally sound economic development strategies. Since
1974, ILSR has worked with citizen groups, governments and
private businesses in developing policies that extract the
maximum value from local resources.

"A national research and educational organization that explores and
promotes public policies based on rationality and freedom." They have
several pieces about rail initiatives in California.

Policy Institute"Oregon's Free-Market Think Tank" Cascade
Policy Institute explores and promotes answers to Oregon's public policy
questions from an individual liberty, limited government, free-market
perspective.

reports about the fight Portland residents are waging against
LRT.)
The Minnesota
Transportation Alliance is
a member-based not-for-profit coalition of groups, businesses, labor
and local governments concerned about surface transportation in
Minnesota,including highways, bridges, streets and intermodal
connections to transit, trucks, railroads, barges, ships and airports.
The Journal of Advanced
Transportation is
a peer-reviewed international scientific journal which publishes new findings
in transportation studies. It contains several articles on PRT, as well as
many other interesting new transportation findings. Abstracts of these
articles are available online, and back issues containing the full articles
can be ordered for a fee.

a website with links to all kinds of advanced passenger vehicles,
including PRT.
