CPRT is excited to announce that we've developed our own video explaining what PRT is and how it works.

It  features computer animations and provides an excellent overview to answer that ubiquitous call... "So what exactly is PRT, anyway?"

Rather than being a purely technical expose on the technolgy, "What Is PRT?" places the viewer in the role of a PRT passenger, providing a thorough understanding of what using this form of transit would be like and its benefits for the user. It goes on to answer many of the basic questions non-technical people typically ask when first exposed to the concept of Personal Rapid Transit.

Additional support provided by:

Our group has put a lot of energy and resources into this project and we're very proud of the results. Our video production wouldn't have been possible without the generosity and expertise of:

The Academy
Education Center, Inc.

Now Available in VHS tape and RealVideo!

"As an introduction to PRT, the CPRT Video hits the mark! Seeing such a result from a dedicated volunteer organization is a real thrill. It is a rare event for a new technology to receive such broad-based support."
Dr. Edward Anderson, President, Taxi 2000 Corporation
"This is an excellent video for the uninitiated or the initial skeptic. It has become an integral part of our presentation ... as a matter of fact we use it very early in our presentation. Worth ten thousand words!"
Bob Brodbeck, Chair, Education Subcommittee, Sky Loop Committee
